Dog Training and Pet Boarding – Get Ahead of the Curve – Amid the coronavirus pandemic, many of our daily routines and activities have been interrupted or limited. This includes training classes and pet boarding at Big Times Kennel. However, we are optimistically looking forward to getting back to business in May. Boarding will reopen May 4th. Session 2 will make up their last 2 classes in the first 2 weeks of May! Session 3 will begin on May 18th.

Our staff at Big Times Kennel is ready to help you get ahead of the curve with Dog Training and Pet Boarding

Training

With animal adoptions up during stay-at-home orders, it’s reasonable to predict that there are dogs and new pet owners out there who will benefit from manners and obedience training.

There may also be pet parents, after spending countless hours at home with their pups, realizing that their pooch could also benefit from some training. You may not have realized just how much energy your dog has or how much of your energy it takes to discipline and keep up with your pet.

Your pet will have become accustomed to having you around a lot more during the past month or two, giving him much more attention than when you were working outside of your home. This extra attention could result in some problematic behavior when you head back to your job.

It may be time to reset back to a regular routine, which may take a little work. We can help. Here are some helpful training video tips to get you started.

Boarding

Many Americans had to cancel, reschedule, or are anticipating vacations or visits to family in other parts of the country.

Maybe after being quarantined at home for a couple of months, you are ready for a long weekend and a change of scenery. Although we love our pets, you might be longing for a break, even though your pet was most likely thrilled to have you at their beck and call every day.

Big Times Kennel is here to help with your dog and cat boarding needs. Our dog boarding kennel and cattery will open once again as allowed by the state, and we will adhere to any guidelines they mandate so we can serve our guests with complete confidence.

Please remember we have a medical-grade air purification system in the kennel. In addition to the dogs having 11 hours of outside access, the kennel air is recirculated 13 times an hour 24 hours a day.

Our standards for safety, cleanliness, and exceptional facilities have always been of utmost importance to us.

Call Big Times Kennel now to enroll in a training class or reserve a boarding spot.

Check out our dog training page for upcoming class schedules. Class sizes are limited, so be sure to sign up soon to hold a spot. Agility classes and puppy training are full at this time. Be sure to call to get on our waitlist!

We are taking reservations for pet boarding right through the 2020 holidays. When restrictions are lifted, our kennel spots will go fast, so call today!
